Where Does Time Go? -Part 2 of 4

Welcome back to “Life and Random Thinking” – I decided to write a sequel to the first post with the name “Where Does Time Go?

I decided this was essential because I asked for comments on three topics in my first post, and now it’s my turn to share why I chose them.

  1. You can’t live in the past.
  2. Delinquents come in all ages.
  3. Comfort zone – place to avoid.

Thank you friends for your comments on the above topics, each one represents some thoughts I have had about blogs.  – David ♥

Africa is keeping a sharp eye on the room here.

I can’t live in the past.

There are lots of reasons why this statement makes sense, first of all, it’s impossible. Also, who would want to?

The past is an assortment for me, and naturally for you also.  By it’s nature, the past is just memories. Memories that probably represent highlights of both the wonderful, and the opposite.

Wonderful memories are glorious to visit, treasure, and roll around in our minds like a chocolate almond over our tongue.

But eventually the chocolate is gone (sigh), and so is the almond. Much as I am tempted, I can’t or shouldn’t eat chocolate almonds all day.

Time to get up from that couch, 🙂

Tougher memories exist also. I don’t want to forget mine, because I am glad I don’t live there anymore, I have moved forward. Neither do I celebrate them, or wear them like a medal. They are steps along my path only.

Tough times are the prick of a needle at hospital lab, they hurt, unavoidable but soon to be forgotten,

Per chance tough times are merely the winter days of our lives that help us to celebrate the sunflowers, and smell of mowed grass in summer.

Keep looking up, that’s the secret of life. – Snoopy

See you next time ! Hugs – David

  1. Sadly, I get some sadistic joy from wearing the medals of my past traumas at times. I think it’s a martyrdom complex, inherited from my mother. But what you speak is true, and if we spent as much time reveling in our triumphs that many of us do rolling around in our sorrows, we’d all be happier people.

I am so glad you like the garden pictures, I had the most amazing hike today, 9.22 kilometres. I couldn’t have done it two months ago but I am getting healthier and stronger. Thank for all the kind prayers. – David♥
