I live in the South Okanagan. BC. I enjoy reading, exercise, toastmasters. spending time with my son, my daughter, & her husband , and my patient wife. I try to respond personally to every comment on my blog, and in this way I hope to get to know my readers a little bit and say thank you for their encouragement and suggestions.

      I thought it was crazy expensive at the time. Who would pay 89 cents for a burger? I think when I started there i was earning 1.60 per hour but after a few weeks it went up to 2.10. Plus I often made a 1.00 a tip and I saved my paycheque and lived off my tips so I could save up for my first car. Mind you I worked two shifts a week usually so I had 15 dollars a week, I mean how could you spend all that?

      Thanks Jane, it is special to me. When I was a child my Dad brought us to this valley to go tenting. Those were carefree days as childhood is supposed to be. Now I can drive by the campground and remember those days, and simpler times.
